Vintage 1980s Dominique Aurientis Paris Large Gold-Tone Openwork Brooch

Vintage 1980s Dominique Aurientis Paris Large Gold-Tone Openwork Brooch

$200.00

Dominique Aurientis began her career at Christian Dior while studying at the Sorbonne. She went on to design jewelry for the fashion houses of Chanel, Givenchy, Ferragamo, Lanvin, Celine and Emilio Pucci.

In 1986, she started her own line of jewelry, which was sold through high-end department stores and boutiques. And here's one of her gorgeous pieces.

This large round pin is an openwork gold-plate design on a solid plaque. The center has a raised repousse design. The back is marked...DOMINIQUE AURIENTIS PARIS.

The pin measures 2.25"

The pin is held securely by a wide ~C~ bridge.

Excellent vintage condition.

This high-end designer's work is hard to find and well worth wearing and collecting.
